Diffusers
When the shot starts to move in the gunbarrel, it compresses the air column, which fulfills the space in the barrel in front of the shot. The air is forced out of the barrel and creates a pressure wave – preceding the recoil. When the bullet leaves the barrel, the fire dust gas outflows. It causes much stronger recoil wave.
Recoil waves expand into the space around the barrel. The neighbouring person feels this as a quick pressure change.
Diffuser construction enables to direct outflowing gas and recoil waves further into the space from the barrel. The influence of the neighbouring shooter is decreased. It is manifested by lower disconcert from stable position while steering. This extension is earmarked for special unit members, operating in groups.

Diffuser - AK 47
Diffuser is fixed on the barrel by a thread. As for SA58 and AK47 guntype, clamping is solved by positioning spigot snapping into 1 of 4 gaps.

Diffuser - AKS 74 U
The diffuser is made of aluminum alloy used in aviation - AW 7075 Ergal. The surface treatment is hard anodizing. This design is more resistant to mechanical scratches as opposed to decorative anodizing.
