Description
Diffuser, alias a sound baffle is a barrel extension reducing outflowing combustion products in front of the shooter.
Diffuser construction enables to direct outflowing gas and recoil waves further into the space from the barrel. The influence of the neighbouring shooter is decreased.
The diffuser is made of aluminum alloy used in aviation - AW 7075 Ergal. The surface treatment is hard anodizing. This design is more resistant to mechanical scratches as opposed to decorative anodizing.
